Enzo Ferrari aftermarket accessor lits
Posted by nicholma on Saturday, September 6, 2003 6:32 AM
Has anyone compared the various accessory kits for Tamiya's Enzo Ferrari? Acu-Stion have about 4 different sets and a decal set, Sakatsu have 3 different sets and much cheaper and there may be others. Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Don't know any specifics on this one, but I'll be interested to see what others have to say. I have this kit as well and am thinkinf of 'sprucing it up' with some of the aftermarket stuff.

Try:
http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?S27FP2464

It is Hobbylink Japan. I have had very good service from them, fast shipping and what I felt were reasonable prices for thequality of the detail sets I ordered (not the Enzo set)

They also have other stuff for the Enzo, worth a look..

check this page for an extreme use of accesories and details: http://italianhorses.net/TamEnzo/enzo.htm

you can definitely spend a lot of money on the Acu-STion parts

I'm presently planning my Enzo assembly. I've ordered the Studio 27 Grade up kit and Scale Motorsports CF Decal sheets. Still waiting for the Eduard Sabelt Harness kit.

I have used previously Acu-Stion and Sakatsu upgrade sets and both produce high quality Stuff.

Tks for the link to the Italian Horses site. Quite an amzing model he has produced. I think I'll do a mix of them all. The Acu-stion may look the best but the cost is just too much.

I have noticed that Scale Motorsport has released a super detail kit, if it is anything like the Toyota TS01 set it will make a outstanding model awesome!!!

So far the best I've seen was the Acu-Stion. WAAAY too expensive though. The Studio 27 has a nice PE set. WAAAY cheaper than the Acu-Stion.
Aerodynamics is for people who can't build engines.

The acu-stion set is not that great for the money, it contains a lot of cast copies of the Tamiya parts. The parts require a lot of clean up to use.

The best set out there right now is SMS set. You get quite a bit of detail for $125. I recieved mine last week and can't wait to start it.
