Whiskey runner's new career

Wasn't sure just where this one fit in with a mix of pre-built and diecast and planes and cars but I still wanted to share it with you. Didn't feel justified putting it in the dioramas with just some boards from an old wood burning set propped up behind everything so since the car was in the foreground I stuck it here, hope that's alright.

Seems this good ol' boy from the hills decided to trade in his "work car" when the shooting started in '41 and help out his "Uncle" a little. Not sure which is more exciting...... Getting chased and shot at at 100 mph on those old mountain roads at night with no lights or getting chased and shot at at over 300 mph in the wild blue yonder and being able to shoot back. I did this pic in color but liked the old school "feel" of it in black and white better.

That's cool. I like your title and story musings.

Glad ya'll liked it. I just couldn't resist a chance to sneak into the cockpit and run up that corn cob radial and show you what it looks like in color.

I like PictureIt'99 for the rough cut and paste because you can actually see the re-sizing and matching as you do it. I then take the image to PaintShop Pro for the fine tuning, cleaning up and color enhancement.
