Some of us can be helpfull over here as well! Wink [;)]

You have quite a couple of options for those decals. As mentioned, Scalemotorsports make a set. Their decals are of superb quality - I haven't used those specific ones. Be carefull, though, they are usually super-thin and you can thus easily bugger it up if not carefull! They also have some nice PE sets and had a superdetail set for the F2001, but think it's since gone OOP.

Various other options available, though. At placves like mediamix and hlj you can get the full variety of Tabu, S27 and Museum Collection decals. Pretty sure all of them made one for the F2001.

Personal choice and stock-levels are now your biggest head-ache!

Best of luck, it's a very good model.

Oh, what would be nice would be if you can get hold of one that has a different steering wheel map on it... (Small detail , I know!) but don't know whether one's been made. And it's not very noticeable once all is assembled , anyways.

Aw shoot SeeBee I meant no harm lol. Actually your post has been one of the most helpful! I found a set for my F1-2000. Was that an unpopular kit? I've had a couple people confuse it with the F1-2001. Thanks for the link suggestions. Very helpful!

Banged Head [banghead]  Sorry, the memory is a fragile thing! Read post, reply with different model name... tsk-tsk! Sorry man. But at least the idea's still the same.

F2000 - Built one myself shortly after it became available. Still have the "Barbie version" to build - with SMS PE and decals! Very nice kit, not any pitfalls I can remember offhand!

Good luck and enjoy!

BTW, no worries - with "some of us" I actually meant "some of us at F1M" can be helpfull over here as well... being registered on both.

Howzit and welcome over here! It seems it looked like I took offence, but I did not! Merely pointed out that I, for one, am registered on both (and thus can help over here as well). The written word and the emotions that can be interpreted with it is interesting at times! And I do agree - for F1 specific questions, that's the premium place to go. There's just so many knowledgeable guys, all of whom is willing to help. Just browzing the forums, I've learned a heck of a lot.
