Dustin-actually, I think your idea has merit.  Maybe consider a little broader range-merge F1/NASCAR/sports cars/drag racers/etc-you might be able to generate some interest.

If it takes off, I'll consider, depending on my schedule.

Well I guess I was looking for this to be of a learning tool for some of us less accomplished builders. However we could try something like building you favorite Race Car ( Ford, Porsche , Honda????), Race Driver and or maybe a Race Team! Brand of model doesn't matter .

Also I would like to ask a more experienced builder and GB leader to help out and show me the ropes in a matter of speaking. This is just me testing the waters if it happens great if not I can try some time in the future. Thanks for viewing

I'd be interested in a "race car" group build. Keep the topic broad and I'm sure you could find some interest. I'll be starting work on a 1/12 Ferrari F50gt in a week or two so if you get this going count me in. Might want to post it over in the GB section.

Hey, I'd would be intrested if you can get it going. Can't commit to a early start date though. I have 2 GB's on the burnner now and I build kindda slow.I Have a 1:12 Renault RE 20 Turbo that looks like it would be real fun to put together!

Was involved in one a couple of years ago. Great fun!!

Get one going (new post over in GB forums if I'd hazard a guess?) and I'll join for sure. I must admit, I fall into the slow builder category as well. What happened last time as well, is that many joined after getting it going.

Go for it! Thumbs Up [tup]
