I am trying to find Hemi Orange in a bottle for touch up work. I found it in a Model Master Spray Can but not a bottle I don't want to decant unless I have to.
That being said, I am building one of the new Hawk 1/4 scale hemi engines. This is not a kit I would recommend. There are many very large gaps especially where metal meets plastic. There are no locater pins, ridges, or tabs where the heads meet the engine or where the heads meet the manifold. It's almost impossilbe to line these up. I wound up using 5 minute epoxy fitting the left head and one side of the manifold together and then adding the right head. Nothing really fits that well. I have filled as many of the gaps as possible and now need to paint them, if I can find suitable paint. The spark plugs are another big problem. The right side plugs don't fit at all and need to be nearly cut in half to get them to seat in the head covers. More details as I finish the kit if anyone is interested.
