maffen,

I've only built one kit (Tamiya Bimota Tesi 1-D), but I do have a couple waiting for me on the shelf... My bench is still not set-up (just moved to a new house) and I likely won't be in building-shape for a couple of months yet. But....., when I do get going...... a motorcycle kit will be one of the first ones to build. After I finish all of the other ones that I've been procrastinating. OK, reality is it might be a few years before I get to the motorcycle kits.... Sorry...

Does anyone know if there's a kit of the new-ish Yamaha Road Star Warrior? I love that bike and would love a model of it. When I get my car paid off in the next year or two, I'm going to buy one. Until then, mebbe I could just build one.

I've seen the road star kit, and it's nice, but there is a version called the road star warrior, it's got a bigger engine and different stance. The tank is totally different as is the rake of the front, and the exhaust and suspension is completely different. I thought about getting the road star and trying to modify it, but that is way beyond my abilities I think, it's a radically different bike. That road star looks like it would be a nice kit, and it is Tamiya too, but I want the Warrior. Thanks for replying maffen!
