Sorry I took so long to answer your question. I built the stock version. I don't remember the shade of blue I used but it is dark so when I put the white bumble bee stripe around the tail the color showed through a little. Other than that, I was very pleased.

I have the '69 Super Bee in my display case. I think it is a great kit. Being an old Monagram kit, the assembly is easier than some other kits but still makes a nice model when finished. It also helps that I have a soft spot for Mopars. My friends tell me the soft spot is in my head.

Hello from the Great White North

Which version did you build?

Just opened the kit to examine it.  First this I said was 'Wow and cool'Cool [8D].  Which one of the two styles will I tackle.  Once I can borrow my daughter's digital, I should upload a photo of the box cover and the two different versions.  Decisions, DecisionsSigh [sigh].

I there is a craft/hobby store that every two weeks issues coupons for 40% off.  One item person, once per week.  So I was able to pick this up dirt cheap by Canadian $ standards.

This might get addicting.

Just dropping a short note that I am a newbie to this hobby.  Posted in the Introduce Yourself forum.  Looking to try different venues to find my forte, but am interested in all areas.  Looking forward to an enjoyable time.

Just picked up a Revell (1:24) '69 Dodge Super Bee 2'n1 to add to my little (4 model) stash.
