Well I am happy if I can impress an 8 year old (My grandson is 8 also).

Paint is Testors Dark Blue from the little square bottles.

Wow, nice job.  As time goes on I hope to come close to what you experienced modelers are doing.  Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

Always one of my favorite cars. I even had the chance to get a short ride in one some 40 years ago.

Nice job on this. You might want to take some white paint to match the stripes and bring them to the edge of the body work above the intruments and glove  box. Also, blend the scoop into the racing stripes with some white as well. .

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

very nice mstanley. I alway liked the looks of this car. I hope, someday (in the far future) to build a cobra kit car (must keep dreaming of it for now..)

But...but....but......the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.......
Looks great, man.
That 427 S/C is just about the toughest looking car ever made.......one of the most beautiful bodies ever made.

Cheers, LeeTree

That's gorgeous! The Revell kit, I assume? I'm building the same one, but I'm doing the green version. Hope it turns out half as good.

the problem with doing the "green" one is that you need to scratchbuild a rollbar and front air dam to look like the real one.
