Nice!!! Looks just like my friends "Z/28"; a friend of mine used to have a "Z/28", which was really a modified RS with a 327 Corvette motor, dual quads, four speed tranny, and Z/28 badges. It would snap your head back when he floored it, wicked car!!

Hey Again,

My update: I just got done with the putty filling & sanding. Now getting ready to paint & buff my life away err car to a nice mirror polished shine. The chassis and interior came out nicely considering I still feel like  I am new to the hobby with more tools/supplies then a normal newb. I will post progress pictures when I can, knowing how much of a slacker I can be it will be finished when I post pictures Laugh [(-D].

Hey that's great that your wife has joined the party.
Hope that doesn't mean the need for a bigger table now. Confused [%-)]

My wife sometimes joins the hobby area. She'll sit near us and paint on her canvas or whatever while my son and I work on our cars. She learned quick though that it's guy talk time like hanging out in the garage. LOL

I'm having fun now doing some stock builds. I used to just paint whatever custom paintjobs I felt like. But it's a bit more challenging to find the color schemes and patterns offered for years & models, chose one of those and try to match.

Jim,

Thx I appreciate it. Funny thing, wife loved it so much  she picked up a Revelle Cadillac Escalade kit. She joined the table Shock [:O] ! She's actualy doing nice work.

As far as the seats are concerned I was going to use one color untill I did more research on my favorite car. Most Camaro seats are 2-toned, figured I'd do the right thing and do it right. I was set back myself when I saw the pic's on the web looking as pink as they are Ack LOL.When I can I will post more pic's of my progress.

Nice to see you and your boys work on a similar bench as my son and I do Guido. Dinner [dinner]

As far as the wife loving it, don't they always love everything we do? Whistling [:-^]

The Camaro looks like it is coming along nicely. I like how you gave the seats the fabric/vinyl look. Too often I seen the interiors painted one solid color. Keep us posted. Oh by the way, glad to know it is red and not pink. I was a bit set back Shock [:O] at first LOL.

I know what you meen with the camera, mine makes red look orange. Seems the red is a difficult colour for digicams. I was already deep in the styrene swamps when I meet my future wife so she really didn't have anything to say about me building models and now it's to late for here to have an opinion about it. We've been married for almost 12 years now so I think it's ok with her.

not bad at all but i think that looks most of our work sites from time to time

on picture taking i learned not to use the flash it is to harsh and use some type of soft lighting to light up the area so already have the area light before the pics dont add it when u take it and my wife love's it to

Niclas,

Thx for the kind words. I just recently came back to the hobby and joined this site at the same time earlier this month. My wife finaly gave me permission to start building again hehe. As far as the work is going, it is coming along smoothly. Pictures actually got washed out some the red looks pink ( Bleh ) I am a true novice at taking photos. I will update more I have alot of paint buffing left to do.

That looks just like my own working space, never seen you around though!? Do you sneak in while I'm away? Wink [;)]

Looking good, your Camaro and quite a busy building site if you ask me.

Keep it coming
