Krylon primers and paints
Posted by Pukindog on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 3:28 PM

It's me again lol,

I am going to build a 2006 Stratus F/C using a Competition Resin Body. Will krylon primers and paints work with resin?

                                                                                     Thank you again,

                                                                                         Evolution

No problem! I use them on resin and styrene. Just clean your resin well before painting like you would do for any other paint.

Krylon grey primer is actually my preferred primer for resin.

Do you use the Krylon primer straight from the rattle can or "decant" it first and use an airbrush?

I normally use it straight from the can but there's no reason that you can't decant it.
