Thanks very much for your reply, this is of help!  This is somewhat similar, but as best I remember, it had a full bubble top.  The motorized feature is correct.  The kit dates to the mid 60's (65, maybe) and was either 1:18 or maybe even 1:12 - it was BIG!  I wish I could find a listing of old Lindberg kits, that would probably solve the question.  As to ever locating one, I suppose that if I ever got that lucky, I'd need to mortgage my place for it!

The "Diamond Duster" is the only one I can think of that fits your description. And I think it has a Chrysler 318?!

Is this it?

Custom Car question

I usually hang out on the Aircraft forum, but as an homage to my younger days, I have recently started to look for some of the car kits I built many years ago.  Does anyone remember a Lindberg (I think) kit very large scale (maybe 1:12) of a futuristic bubble top roadster?  IIRC, it was a dreadful purple colored plastic, had all the "toy" features like working steering and working bubble top.  I have been searching EvulBay and a few other sourcesm but I cannot find it or even the name of the kit.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
