Chrome

Few years ago I did a review about the Alclad paints, I did several tests ( and of course I have been used the paint from then on)

Aclad is not easy to  use you will master your tecnique, however is the only decent way to try with paint.

To repair small scratches in chrome parts Gunze is offering a paint marker which result is amazing, no silver paint tru crhome, but just useful for small parts.

Of course the metal foil is still the best choice, if you learn to use, the trick is to have the right brand and follow the instructions

deff. i agree.     and if u have the same problem i did. its that ur affraid of buying off the internet. and that limits u tremendously..... but dont be. and if all else fails..... ask around if anyone on the forums has any they dont want. u never know if someone might send u a bottle for free. the people here are awesome. i once got a set of free brake rotors just because i asked if anyone had them......

so ask around!

Alclad is the way to go on bumpers and other complex parts, the only drawback is that it wears off easily. Just a light rub and the base coat shines through, easy to correct but a bit annoying. Anyway, there is no substitute for it as of today and I think it looks very convincing.

This Plymouth has the front and bumpers done in Alclad chrome and it looks quite good in my humble opinion.
