Here some mixes that have proved to be right in the past (Tamiya paints)

Orange: X6 + X8 (50/50). Overall Colour on F1/500 and CanAm cars from 1968 to 71

Blue: X3. Sometimes on spoilers and wings on Orange livery

You're in luck as this discussion was up some time ago, just follow the link and you have mixing proportions for Tamiya's acrylics. Should be useable for other brands also if the hue match resonabely close.

McLaren orange color?

Does anybody know a good match for the papaya cor used by the McLaren team in the late '60s/ early '70s?

And, for extra credit, how about decals?  I have a few Heller M7 F1s, and they can't ALL be Bruce's #6.  I'd really like to find the appropriate markings for one of Gurney's rides in one of the three races where he drove an M7A.

Or information for conversion to an M7B or M7C?

 Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,

Rick
