25 T Amt Double Kit
Posted by Graymodeler on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 8:53 PM

I finished this T a while ago but had to get the camera thing going to post.  The body is a resin replica but most of the other stuff was in the kit to build the original box art chopped coupe.  I believe the flipper hubcaps are from the AMT 40 Ford.  Paint is Testors gold with an overcoat of Future.

That looks good to me.  That kit had so many options that you could build a few dozen and they would all look different.

I'm just finishing a build from that kit, and all I recognize in common with yours is the radiator and firewall. (but I painted my radiator shell)

In the first packaging I bought of that kit, they included both the roadster body and the chopped coupe body (1965 or so) and in 1970 or so I bought one with the roadster body and a full-height coupe body.  In more recent releases, they have only included the roadster body, but I'm OK with hunting resin bodies.  Which one did you use?

That is a great looking job with the gold paint, too.

Rick, I attended a birthday for a friend in about 62 and he got that kit as a present.  I always wanted to build the chopped version.  The body is Replicas and Mineatures I believe.  I still need to finish the master cylinders and put the bumpers on.  Greg

I have fond memories of that kit also.  I originally built it back in '63.
