Outstanding job on this pickup. The color is great. What kit was this based on? It looks like your right vent window post is cracked. Did this happen after paint?

I believe its the AMT kit.  Its built from the '55 custom kit.  But its built mostly stock.  The Color is an exact match to the original.

Yeah, the post broke post paint.  And I didnt want to risk messing up the paint job but filling and sanding.  So I left it.

Well, after building nothing but armor and a/c for the past year, I returned to my roots with a 1955 ford F-100.  This was built for my girlfriend's Dad, who is restoring a 55 f-100.  So, I matched the interior, the engine, the wheels, and I even matched the color. 1955 Ford Goldenrod Yellow [mixed by CarQuest].  So this should match nearly 100% with his truck.  I also wired the engine, and replaced the plastic bed with balsa wood.
