Not sure, I've seen light grey and light blue on 1-1 trucks, I think it has to do with the actual year of the truck. There isn't much difference between '47 & '53, '54 has a different style grill, '46 and '55 are completely different body styles.

I am building a 1950 chevy coke truck. The instructions tells me to paint the engine chevy gray. But the picture on the box shows it to be a dark green, or teal color.

 Any one know what the color should be? It is a straight six.
