If memory serves, there was a kit of the '65 Indy pace car which was a convertible. You would only have to modify the grille insert, add the side panel ornaments and maybe slightly alter the seat upholstery patterns for an accurate model of a '66. I think the kit was by Revell but I'm not 100% sure. I had one awhile back so check your LHS for it. Good luck!

I see me and and some others have been lookie-lookies 43+ times. I can't remember ever seeing a convertible so may I offer this... buy the AMT #31542 1/25 and cut the top off. To cleanup/finish the conv. top make your own out of some puddy/resin cast..or see if another models' top can suffice.
