Yeah, this was a fun build, despite my 5 attempts to get a smooth fiinish. Still, it was a pleasant stroll down Memory Lane.

 

Ladies and gentlemen, I present Tom Daniel's Police Paddywagon:

And a shot of the interior. I did a natural woodgrain paint job on the benches, even though it's tough to see in this pic:

 

Other than that and the engine, it was painted according to the directions.

....and he built it well to!

They are a heap of fun those show-rods. I have the Fire Iron in the pipline, just needs some primer and sanding before the red goes on.

As far as I can see the benches looks very convincing, good work.

LOL.......Man!!  I remember building one of those about a hundred years ago.......gold colored chrome and all.....excellent......brings back fantastic memories.....

Niclas thanks for the compliment on the benches. I tried to make them look as good as possible.

Durr, Lee, I'm glad I could take you back. I also love these trips down Memory Lane.
