I'm using a 302 taken from the AMT '68 CamaroZ/28 kit and putting it in an old Monogram Fiero. In the instructions on the engine build it says "distributor not used in this kit" I'm guessing it's just for convenience and not for any real world reason? Where was the distributor located? I'm guessing, again, that it was back, center of the manifold? Also if I were to include the spare alternator would I run a belt from the lower pully between the block and blower belt? Thanks for your time, I know next to nothing about the layout of engines except that they run on gas
