Back to the Future

So, I've bought the BTTF original movie Delorean...
Have any of you put one together? This is the edition that everything is in Japanese, with a resin marty.
I was just wondering about some of the building...ie details, improvements...that any of you may have done. Also, are there things to avoid or watch out for?
THE star of my favorite movie MUST be built properly
Anything info is perfect...thanks!

I've never seen the Japanese version of this car. I just finally picked up the Amercan issue of this model recently rerelesed by Polar Lights. I put it off so long because this version is based on the first movie and I was waiting on a rerelease of the flying version from the second movie. However, I still got lucky because after I reluctantly picked up this version, I discovered when i opened the box that it included parts to put on the Mr. Fusion power core and included the orange "bar code" license plate as seen at the end of the original movie. So you can build it one of two ways. Problem is I'll have to modify the kit if I want to make the floting version. I have already done this with the small Johnny Lightening die-cast mini-model.
I'm going to add LEDs to my1/25 scale.
