When you go to print on the paper, go into the properties after you select print from the file menu, and go to higher quality.  Tell it you are printing on photo paper.  You will of course have to allow more time for the ink to dry before hitting it with the clearcoat.  My results have been very good, however I don't have any pics readily available that I can post at this moment.  I will soon though as I am printing up decals for a local police department.  I just need to go to the local precinct, to get the last few photo's I need to finish the artwork up.

Andrik, no help for you, but may I ask where you found that panel truck? I build one when I was younger (I'm only 20 now) and I'd like to try it again. Thanks!

Hi,

Yes I have done some decal work with the Testors paper but was not totally happy with the outcome; may need to use a different decal paper or something.

Anyway I was asking about aftermarket to see if and what might be available on the market. Thumbs Up [tup]

HI Andrik,

Have you considered making them yourself? You could pick up some pictures from internet for example and use these.

I recently started doing this and it not that difficult, even if you have no fancy color printer (I use simple inkjet colorprinter, some decal paper and clear spray can varnish from Halfords)

Hi All,

Getting into cars ( armor modeler, plz dont hold that against me Whistling [:-^] ) and got my hands on a '55 Ford panel truck and wanted to know if anyone out there put out different types of art decals that I might be able to use to do a scheme of my liking other than the Harley Davidson decals the kit  has, was thinking along the lines of maybe skulls or a patriotic flame pattern etc.

Is there anything out there in 1/24- 1/25 scale?

TIA
