I am building a racecar and i was wondering what you guys use for the padding on the roll cage. Thanks

I usually build '50's and '60's stock cars so I wind up scratchbuilding my cages and adding the padding. I generally use Evergreen 3/32 tubing and use insulation from 12-2 electrical wiring for the padding. Here's a pic of the cage I built for my '67 Petty car. Hope this helps.

dubix88, there are several ways to make the padding. One is like mitchum said. you can also purchse some from an after market company. One of those companies is Scale Model Speedway, out of Kentucy. It comes in red and black. Hope this is helpful.
