Yeah my dad had a Bel-Air sport coupe in the early sixties(White top dusky pearl body). He had to get rid of it when the engine blew in'65.

Nice work on the 57 Chevy.  I used to drive one of those, (new), when I got my first driver's license way back when.

Thanks Ralph!Well I mixed the paint using Model Master enamels followed by a coat of clear mixed with body color along with more thinner.I applied a "wet"coat of the clear/color mixture which flowed and leveled itself, imparting a high gloss. The Bare Metal foil was eay to work with just takes a little care and patientence. As for my knowledge of modeling ,I started modeling when I was 8 years old(I'm now 42)so I have some decent modeling chops. Thanks for the kind words glad that you like the Bel Air!

Very sharp build. How did you paint the model? It appears to be a very good job. The engine also looks good. The Chevy Orange also looks very accurate.Nice work on the dash . I hope my first effort looks half that good. Very cool job on a very cool classic.  From the look of the car I would guess you have  a very good knowledge of model building.

Any problems with th BMF?  I usually build aircraft so some of the car building techniques are new to me.  My next project is a Revell 69 z 28.

Thanks for showing
