No problem.  I'm originally from the KC area, and will be moving back soon.  I'm moving my family back in a couple of weeks and will be following as soon as I find a new job.

 I built that model a couple years ago just for fun. Yes it's the old Hubley. Check the chromed plastic parts. If they are good ,go for it. With a good primer and paint job they turn out pretty well. It will take lots of file work to clean up the metal parts. It's not a shake and bake job. Surely you can do a better job than some of the ready-made diecast models I've seen!  modelbob@hotmail.com

Yes, you are correct, there should be about 70 or 75 pcs in the kit. I was remembering the old model A Fords. If the kit was made in Dyersville Iowa, then it probably is a Hubly, Hubley or whatever rebox. They are good kits but like I said, not real detailed from what I remember. Of course that was a lot of years ago, they might have changed some. All in all, I'd say build it. They do look nice.

It kind of looks like the old Hubly (or something like that ) metal models. If it is the same they are not so difficult. Not real detailed and only about 25 or 30 parts. They do look kind of nice if you don't get right up on them to look at. I'm not sure about how rare they are though.
