Paint question on two Revellogram NASCAR models
Posted by cdclukey on Thursday, September 13, 2007 12:06 AM

I've got two old Revellogram kits, Bodine's Tabasco Grand Prix and Bill Elliot's McDonalds Taurus. The paint lists in both call for transparent red and transparent blue, but I don't see them anywhere else in the instructions.

Anybody know what I'm supposed to use them on, if anything?

IT is possible that the transparent colors would be used on the AN fittings in the engine compartment.AN fittings are used on radiator, brake and fuel lines.

After looking at some google images of them, I'm sure you're right. I'll check the kit parts for joints that look like ANs. Thanks a bunch for the assist.

I'm also wondering why I had to go look at a picture of an AN fitting when the planes I used to fix had about a million of the bloody things. Oh well, memory fades...
