Actually you have quite a selection to chose from for building yourself a Rat Rod.

I'm not trying to advertise my site, as it is not ready for prime time yet, but it is easier to list items just by pointing you their (hopefully I won't be in trouble with any policies or moderators). Take a look at options you have here - 1920 - 1940 cars and trucks. There's actually more as I haven't updated the info for awhile.

GoodGuys sponsors some nice car shows, some of which include Rat Rods as seen here - http://www.ratrodderalley.com/node/14

Don't forget about customize the kits too.  Wink [;)]

If by Ratrod you mean the 40s & 50s style hot rods, you probably won't find much. AMT and Revell sell Bucket Ts and 32 Deuce & Highboys.

Revell's 1929 Ford Ratrod pickup 3 in 1 kit is a great start, the kit is full of parts, you could almost build two models from all the stuff in there.

It got me thinking that I would like to build a car or two. I would love to be able to build some kind of ratrod. could you guys shed some wisdom on some option I have? where I might be able to find them. etc.

 thanks in advance.
