Thanks.  I'll wander over there and see what's up.

HLJ showed several Volkswagen kits (you spelled it volkswagon), but mainly old Beetle, new Beetle and the Golf. Other than the AMT Rabbit and AMT Scirocco in the late 70s or early 80s, there haven't been many VW passenger car models besides old or new Beetles.

I know I've seen Jetta's on shelves.  Check Fujimi. Tamiya, and Aoshima, they are your most likely candidates, that would have one I think.  Probably not in their catalogs though.  Also try headed over to Hobby Link Japan(hlj.com), and go to the auto models section and do a search just for jetta, as their search engine is kinda funky.  Actually lemme check hlj real fast for you.  BRB.  Could find nothing for Volkswagon or for Jetta on there.  Still might find something.  Even though it's the same publisher and even though the editor of the mag is a complete dictator, if anyone would know it'd be the folks at Scale Auto.  scaleautomag.com.  Most members are pretty cool and so are the staff, but the staff is forced to be a bunch of jerks because of the editor.  Which is why readership of the magazine has gone down by 43% in the last year alone.  Still Kalmbach refuses to fire him, stating how great he is, so it'll just keep going down until they are less then 1000 copies in circulation.  Most members don't even read the mag anymore.  If you join the forum, word of advice, do NOT voice any personal opinions about ANY subject because if your opinion differs from the editor's he will ban you from the forum.  He banned a kid for converting a Honda to RWD for crying out loud, after he bashed on the kid for doing it.  Then he banned the only guy who said it was a good job(me), for saying it weas a good job.  Everyone else was smart enough to keep their yap shut and not comment.

Thanks.  I guess I'll just keep looking.  Might have to go the die-cast route for this one- just got an 07 Jetta Wolfsburg and want a miniature of it.  Fun ride!

Volkswagen Jetta kit?

Has anyone made a kit of a late-model VW Jetta, prefereably in 1/24 scale?  A 2007 Wolfsburg would be ideal, but something close would work.
