thanks for the complement, it is the Tamiya 1/24 Xanavi Nismo GT-R (R34) Special Edition (kit # 24271).

http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/24268xanavi_pre/index.htm

I used Tamiya paint (aerosol).

I love Tamiya kits, they are really good quality and almost build themselves. Here's a link to to the original post:

The interior looks great! Thanks for the tip on how you painted your trim work. I just hand painted mine, not too steady either.

in regards to the hand painting the black around the windows i use balck artist water colours and brush that around the window frame in the recess when dry wipe off excess with a soft slightly damp cloth and at a 45 degree angle wipe in light passes as not to wipe off the paint in the recess the you can paint the frame by hand and not worry about that time consuming masking it works every time

P.S post some pictures of you skyline i would like to see it

Nice looking paint. Everyones got there own style but why did you take the same red for the undercarriage?

I just finished building one of these myself. Skyline Blue with white wheels and red calipers. I'm gonna build a photobooth sooner or later

Interior has been painted black with read trim i have brushed in graphite into the lines in the red leather to bring out the details also i would have liked to flock carpet and shelf but havnt got any at the momment

The under pan is now assembled all that is left to do is to attach the exhaust once painted and heat treated

Nice looking GT-R. I've heard that some of the Tamiya kits don't have engines, does this one? I think they call them curbside models. I built a race version of the skyline from Tamiya and it did have an engine. Fairly decent detail too. In any case, yours is looking real good.

again looking great here, jezz!

Maybe a stupid question, is the car on the last picture a real one? If so, is it yours?

BTW, any chance of higher (larger) photo's? please.....
