Thanks a bunch guys!

The curb feelers is made from streched sprue with a tiny blob of white glue at the end and some silver paint on them.

It got some texas-plates now,  they spell "cruiser" as I had no clue to what it would have been in real life back in the late 40's early 50's?

That looks great!!! Great details. Feelers are a nice touch!! Did you add them or where they in the kit? Looks great!

CB?? Nope, that's one of them big ol' "whoop whoop" POO-lice antennas Brother Dave Garner  talked about that they used to run way back when the lights were red and not blue.

Really nice job on that old Merc "opposition" car.   Now, in my best Robert Mitchum voice, "You might be able to do all you say. Only first, you gotta catch me, if you can."

DOOH! Blush [:I]

Thank you for pointig that out, I usually put plates on but kind of forgot it on this one. Well, as soon as it's home again I'll correct that little issue.

Off to ACME License maker and find some period correct plates then.

Howdy!

That's about it for this one, time to sneak behind a billboard and try to catch some speeders.

Besides a lightly lowerd suspension at both ends nothing but the police equipment is done to the kit. For me a quite quick build, started and finished the same year Shock [:O]

It's based on the old but good AMT 1949 Mercury and inspired by the Sheriff in Cars. Got the siren, lights, CB and a hand held search light put on the dash from a friend.

Well, on to the pictures.
