It looks like a show winner. The custom interior looks to be very well done. I really like the paint. What did you use? Super job on the engine , the wired generator is a nice detail.

Quite satisfied with the paint job myself. I used Tamiya Acrylics XF-19 Sky Grey as a primer and X-14 Sky Blue for the color cote, and a Tamiya Spray Works air brush.

The kit went togheter pretty smooth despite coming from old molds. The chassis plate was a bit warped, but nothing more than a hot bath and some careful bending took care of.

That's one good looking car, the wheels aren't my cup of tea but the build is top notch!

I'm amazed that you managed to get that kind of result from Tamiya acrylics, I had no luck at all with them except for one car. Don't know how many times I've tried them out and always faild to get good results.

This paint job is very good indeed.

That's a pretty old kit you got there.  I remember building it when it was released in about '62. I can't believe they want about 16 dollars for them now.  I eventually bashed the fenders in and tried to replicate one I saw at a dirt track.  I believe it was a trophy 3 in 1 back then.
