REVELL RACE CAR TRAILER WITH EQUIPMENT
Posted by buman on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 9:36 AM

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone could recommend a Truck / Van that would go with the REVELL RACE CAR TRAILER WITH EQUIPMENT kit (there is a picture of this older kit on EBAY http://cgi.ebay.com/Revell-Race-Car-Trailer-w-Equipment-1-24-scale_W0QQitemZ330189397215QQcmdZViewItem )

 Thank you so much!

Oliver

Hi there. IMHO, either the AMT/ERTL '40 Ford Sedan Delivery or the Revell/Monogram '37 Ford Panel Delivery would look great with the trailer. Loads of room in the rear of each to put all kinds of accessories too. Have fun.Smile [:)] Whatever you use, I'm sure it will look great.

On second thought, how about a scratch built Winabego??? Great for race crews.Party [party]

In case somebody else is looking for a trailer:  Back in the mid-1960's, AMT made a dragster kit that had its own trailer.  I only  mention this because I'm 99.99% certain that the dragster & trailer were in 1/25 scale, not 1/24.

Hi Oliver, I have to apologize to you.Ashamed [*^_^*] I was checking out my stash for something else and saw that the 2 vehicles I said would go with your trailer will not. They are both 1/25. Sorry.Sigh [sigh] I was in a hurry to help and didn't look at the size.   I still think that a scratchbuilt Winebago would be great. How about with a drop-down side? A pull out awning to work on the car in the shade. Wow, maybe I'll try this.
