We have a 1:1 67 with the 390 and I would like to see if anyone makes a kit or a conversion for another kit to build one in 1:24 or so?

i believe a new one was shown in the whats new section of oct. finescale.i built one by amt i believe that was a 428 w/a few engine options.very nice model.the 428 and the 390 are almost immpossible to tell apart.hope this info. helps. well its back to the dark side.also the engine and trans from amt's 66 fairlane can be swapped into the galaxie.you may need to do some body work as i believe the galaxy has the hood blister molded in.good luck, and long live the galaxie.mines a 61 quad door,292 auto. room for 8.plus ten in the trunk.lolThumbs Up [tup]

They are big...the standard XL car cover just doesn't quite work.  A lot of sheet metal but not all that bad to work on. We also have a old Suburban with the 350, a beater but my daughter can work on them by standing in the engine compartment.

Time to drag out the old copies of FSM, don't know how I missed that, THANKS!
