I just got back from a business trip and found a box with 64 Ford Modified, Allison Thunderland, and 71 Cyclone that had just been delivered. They are reissues, but sometimes they are a slightly different mix of parts than was in the original kit. I have a most them, mainly the Ford and Mercury subjects. The decals are definitely different. The quality seems to be as good as I remember from the time. Most of these kits haven't been out in awhile and can be great sources for parts for many other subjects of the same era. The 64 Ford has a bunch of NASCAR parts from that time that brought back many memories from a 2dr Galaxie kit in 1964. In fact, the first stocker I ever tried to build was the Freddy Lorenzon #28 64 Ford. All I had to go by were a very few fuzzy newspaper photos and a few from Motor Trend and Car Life. Needless to say none of the colors were even close except the white body.
So back to your question, these kits can be great fun and chock full of useful parts. They are a real blast from the past!
