USFS Brush Truck reference??? Anyone want?
Posted by fantacmet on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 10:24 PM
Hey is anyone interested in having me post somewhere the buncha reference pics of a USFS Brush Truck?  Lots of detailed photo's.  closeups of everything I could think of.  More then enough to create an accurate and detailed replica.  I'm willing to create a new fotki accoutn for the purpose.

Sure, never have enough USFS stuff. If you want I'd be willing to add it to my site.

I have a section just for USFS stuff here, about 1/2 way down the page.

I've found your site while doing searches online for modern brush trucks.  That'd be great.  Shoot me a pm with your e-mail address and I'll zip them up.  I have a few shots of a USFS Law Enforcement K9 unit too, but no pictures of it without a 1919A4 Belt feed machinegun in the way.  Belongs to a riend, we were up shooting, when they came up to clean up the remants of a rave party.  The USFS Guy even shot it.

I sent you a PM on 1/11 I'm not sure if it worked or not. If you didn't get it let me know. Also on the main page of my site I have a section for submitting photos that has my email in it.

It worked, but for some reason I keep getting bouncebacks from the e-mail address.  I tell you what, I'll upload the zip file to my website, and give you the URL, and then let me know when you've got it, so I can pull it down from the site.  Server space costs money.

Ok it's at this URL

After it's up might be cool to post a link in the forum.  Michael from Oregon, or Fantacmet is good enough for credit.

Ok, I got them. I'll get them up as soon as I can. I don't get to see Region 6 apparatus that often. There seems to be a magic line at the Oregon / California border we don't get to cross over very often.

Hopefully I got a good set of walkarounds.  I got as close as I could to the sections that I thought would need a closer look.  Or close enough to where someone might need to use it to make some decals.  I would love to build a copy of that truck, but wouldn't know where to begin.

Well it would help if someone made that cab, I don't even know of an IH7300 in resin. My engine uses the same cab so I'd be really happy if one was available.
