Tinted windows

Practice on some clear acetate first -
Take some Tamiya Smoke (can't remember whicn number) and add a little India ink (just a little at a time) and airbrush on several layers of this mix.
You should be able to gradually darken the windows, layer by layer.
Remember, in real life it's illegal to tint the windscreen and rear windows of a passenger car (well, it is here in OZ). The sides can be tinted, but not the front or back.

I have heard about using actual window tinting film for real cars. The only problem with that is that you get enough of the stuff in a package that you have enough to do about a million models, but that's alright.

hey if your using the ghoastbuster ride from polor lights, its got tinted "glass " in the kit. all the rear windows are tinted, they may be just dark enough for what your doing?

Yeah, after I made this thread I actually opened my kit and looked at it. *smacking self on head* Duh! Thanks for the advise though. I might try tinting some windows on later projects.
