I'm a HUGE Corvette fan (I own one), and love the Corvette Summer version. Mostly because it's so ugly I can't stop looking at it. LOL

Nice work so far on the project!

Your Photobucket Link does not open for me either. The photos in the post look good. Keep posting to keep us up to date on the build. The engine looks good so far. Keep up the good work.Yes

Looking good! Looks like you did a resin re-pop of the scratch-built hood and raised louvers.

Your Photobucket link does not open for me so I can't see what you're talking about.

I have seen the Corvette Summer car; it's just as ugly in person as in the movie.  The right hand steering is set up with a bicycle chain and sprocket!!  It's currently owned by Mike Yager of Mid-America Motorsports and is on display at his museum in Effingham, Ill.

Well this is my first time posting any thing on here about a car as I'm on SAF a lot and I like this side of building to so sins I'm doing things on here now I thought I mite show you all one of my big projects.

http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t248/White_r34/WIPs%20Car%20and%20Truck%20types/Corvette%20Summer%20Stingray/?start=all

Well if any of you have see the move of these two car you will know what I'm doing and why I'm building them. First when I was startting on this build I thought I would be the first to build it first. I was rong well sins that was the case I will build 2. I know on none that has built both cars' the red and the stolen gold one. and it would be good to see both in a pic together. I have a lot of pix I will post a link and if you all want me to put up some pix from my album I will.

Any way I am now goint to do all the car's I like from the move:(Two Corvette StingRays, Vanessa Van,the it's a datsun?, and the Black trans AM.) I have foung that no one has built any of the other vehicles. Oh ya I don't like the teachs Brown chevy suburban. I'm still thinking on that. any ways here's some pix.

Kit used (It's Old)
