Shelby GT500 Mustang

Tower Hobbies has the '07 Shelby 500 GT listed as order pending, and the 350H (the one I'm waiting for) as May '08. I usually find Tower's dates to be pretty accurate, but I don't know if pending means any day now, or that a specific date has not been set, I would guess the second since the '50 Ford pick up said late Dec right up until 12/30 when it became available to order.

I rented a GT350H from Hertz when they were first issued at an outragous price ($200 per day). Hertz had the traction control switch rigged so that it remained in the on possition. The Shelby GT is basically the GT350H without the Hertz specific stuff. When the original Hertz cars came out we would rent them for the day and go to the drag strip. There were folks that would rent the car and take the motor and swap in a stock 289. Again thanks for the info. I'll order both kits and keep my fingers crossed for a "Bullit" Mustang.
