Hasegawa's 1966 Thunderbird, lots of pictures

So, finally got around to finish this one. Lost momentum during assembly of the front end. Nothing fits as it should leaving gaps and a ill fitting bumper.
Well, left it as is. A bit strange to build a US car from Hasegawa and more strange that it's so badly engineered as the other stuff from them is very good.

Managed to get some scratches and chipped paint but as a learning experience it's ok so it's now put in the cabinet with the rest.

On to the pictures, taken inside due to a minor snowstorm for the moment.

Looks pretty darn good to me. Is that all paint? Very nice work.

AWESOME!!!!!!!

The paint job is top notch.  I used to build autos back in the day and stopped to build aircraft since the paint jobs were much easier.  This has inspired me to give auto's another try.  Can you tell us how you achieved such a superb paint job???

Once again AWESOME!!!!!!!
