                        Whitewall tires for a '53 Corvette

                        I am currently building a '53 Vette and I need some "wide"whitewalls. Is it possible to paint them on the vinyl kit tires? What kind of paint would one use? Or does anyone know where I might find some?

                        The model is 1/24 scale. Thanks for any help.

                        Yepp, it's quite possible to paint the white walls. Whatever you do, don't use enamels though as it'll never dry properly. Instead use acrylics and you'll be just fine.

                        you could also buy the white wall paint to turn regular street tires into white walls.
