None that I have seen. Not even any real recent pick ups anyway.

Not related to the model but look the Colorado over really well before you buy. We had an '05 4x4 regular cab, it was a really nice truck, good power (I think we had a 5 cylinder? weird engine but ran good), decent gas mileage, fairly comfortable (I'm 6'2") handled well on and off road (except in the snow, it really didn't like snow), but we were breaking stuff like crazy, brake handle came off, door handle broke, shifter knob came off all within 6 months of us getting it. It also had no key hole for the passenger side??? Maybe we got some government rate special, but the cheapness of it really turned me off of an otherwise nice truck. We had a Ford Ranger prior to that, piece of junk truck but stuff didn't break off in your hands everytime you got in.

They have had 3 years to work the bugs out, if they have toughend it up a bit and put a key hole on the passenger door its a nice truck. I'm a pretty diehard Toyota guy and I'd consider getting one if the door handle didn't come off in my hand at the dealership. Now the Tacoma, theres a truck for you and its built in California. Whistling [:-^]

Really though if you like the Colorado just give it a good look over, its a nice truck if they fixed some minor stuff but you don't want to be at the dealership everyweek getting a rinkydink repair. On the otherhand you should know how to use glue. Smile [:)]

The colorado is a good truck. There were alot of issues with the 05 models, but those issues have been taken care of.  Also you'll find lemons with every rig out there.  My grandmother and her husband have gone through 3 or 4 brandnew rangers in the last 5 years.  In the past 8 years, a friend has gone through 2 brand new Chevy's.  Nothing wrong with the first, one but it was a base model and she wanted something a bit more uprated with extra seats so she picked up a Colorado.  Those 5 cylinders are fine in the Colorado but they suck in the H3(which except for body and interior is identical to the colorado under the hood and as far as the chassis goes).
