I could see NASCAR being one of the harder subjects for them to keep up on. They have to keep changing according to whomever the current star is ever couple of years. Is it difficult? No. But the constant change would be annoying. I personally don't think that they should stop production. I think it would be neat if they came up with made to order kits for online shopping. So you could select which body, and driver you wanted.

I make a few NASCAR kits in addition to airplanes and once in a while a boat. Those of us who are interested in NASCAR models are sending letters to Revell asking them to consider making a COT body. The only ones available now are resin kits which cost $35 plus shipping. On top of that you have to use a chassis from a Revell kit. Decals decal sheets the 2008 cars are 10 to 12 bucks. By the time you complete a model the total cost is close to $70. If this interests you please contact Revell. It may help officials there to give it some serious thoughts. Personally I can't believe the company wants to halt production of NASCAR models.
