Hey James,

I love the over all build especially the wear n tear look.. One thing I did notice that you do not see all to often is the some what deflatted tire look.

What technique did you use to represent that appearance.. Thank again for sharing your sweet lookin 41 my friend.

Flaps up,

Mike

Very skilled construction and painting of this early classic truck. The details , such as the wheels, tires, gas cap, truck bed, and rust areas really enhance this rendition of an "old lumberyard truck". What scale is the truck and how did you form the tires and paint the truck bed. ?  Thanks for showing.

thanks for the nice comments!

i used the revell kit here 1/25 scale.  and for the tires i just simply cut them flat with my knife , for the truck bed i used a decal

Did that truck bed decal come with the model? It really looks good.

My favorite detail is the bent liscence plate. There's lots of stuff to hunt for on this truck, and those are always fun! You find a new detail every time. One comment, some areas are still a little shinyWink [;)] But it's still a very well done kit. Thanks for sharing it!

generally I don't like model cars because the chrome never looks quite right and the windows never look right either.

on the other hand THIS is totally top notch love it. Bow [bow]Make a Toast [#toast]

Great job on the truck, I love trucks from the 40's & 50's and the 41-47 Chevy is at the top of my list. Very nice job of making it a new work truck, that is a fine line between show room shiney and beat to hell weathered, not easy to pull off but you did it.

I love these trucks and its a great kit too, nice to see one built.
