BareMetal foil should do the job. It comes in a variety of sheens from ultrabright chrome, to matte aluminum. Best of all it's self adhesive. Depending on where the blemishes are, in some cases a simple dab of chrome paint will camouflage a sprue attachment point, especially if it's not very visible on the finished model.

The most expensive way would be to detach all the chrome parts, strip them, and send them out for replating.

yeh howard i know , but the problem is i don't think baremetal foil is avaliable in europe (belgium) and as ordering via the net , you can only order in the u.s, i was wondering if you could use like silverleaf (or goldleaf) it is without adhesive on one side.Sad [:(] thanks for replying

Yes it is available in Europe. I used to get it from Grand Prix Models in England (www.grandprixmodels.com) before it was available in NZ and when I've checked other model shops websites they all stock it. It is far easier to use than applying adhesive to foil. Check back in FSM, I'm sure there was an (aircraft?) article within the last 12 months that described using foil.
