1986 Mustang GT.

I went this way to get the multiport engine instead of the carb model. In 1985 only Cali got the SEFI engines, the rest of the world caught up the next year.

1979 VW Rabbit like theTamiya kit but with engine and NOT motorised.

1972 toyota Celica

Datsun 240Z 1/12 or 1/24, but not with the ZG nose.

Count me in too for a Datsun 510

Audi quattro rally

Renault 5 rear engined turbo rally car (not the motorised crap)

BMW Z3 & Z4 coupe

1999-2005 BMW 3 series

Opel Manta

1984 Toyota celica rally

Porsche 959 "Paris-dakard"

Some of those supply trucks they use in the Dakard

1/12 rally cars modern and vintage.

A GOOD kit of the BMW M1

Cars from the beginings of F1

And highly detailed separated engines & tranny combos for engine swaps, so you don't have to buy a second kit to canibalise it's engine...

And I could go on...

I would love to see a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California (ooooo yeah). Also a Fiat 1973 850 roadster. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1928 Oldsmobile). A 1976 Lancia Beta Scorpion with the engine. A 1994 Ford F-350 Crew Cab with duallies. (kitbashed that one once) The Clampetts' truck (actually the same vehicle as Chitty from the same prop lot). Any of the Orange County Choppers. Any of the original Ford woodys from the 20's. Any of the great Duesenbergs, especially the 34 coupe simone. I'm sure there are others.

The 89, 90, and 91 Taurus SHO were produced as a kit by EARTL ( I think) and can be found on e-bay. I woulod like to see new kits of the old American Motors cars like the AMX, the Matador, the Ambassador, and the Scrambler (an American with a 390 cid engine). Some of the "woodies", like the Ford, Chrysler, and Cadilac woodies would be neet. The AMT 1948 Ford woodie station wagon is a good example. A new model of the old Studibakers would also be nice, say a 57 Studibaker Golden Hawk. Lastly I would add to the wish list the Auburn, Cord Deusenberg series, especially the "boat tails".

I think that I would give my arm for a 1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. (NOT THE NASCAR) That is what I have and I will tell you what...I would love to build one.

Not sure if the Lindberg Kit # 72324 is an 851, but it's certainly a 1935 Auburn Boat Tail Speedster. Got one in my stash!

So long folks!

If I remember correctly the Hasegawa kit was actually a 1965 bodystyle, it has the 6 round lights in the trunk instead of the flat taillights.  Let me know if this is correct or not.

Also Accurate Miniatures did a nice Maclaren racer, cannot remember which model # it was.

I would love to see the following in 1/25.  1963 Buick Wildcat convertible (my dad's car when I was a kid) 1973-74 Nova SS, 1973-77 El Camino, mid 70's Laguna S3, (seems like AMT & MPC only made Camaros & Corvettes from 73-77)  Also for newer cars that have never been kitted, 89 Calvalier Z-34 convertible and 2000-2008 Monte Carlo SS (theere were lots of cool markings options like Indy Pace car, Intimidator version, and several other Nascar versions with superchargers at the local Chevy dealer the last 5 years, none have been kitted.

there may be hope for the us that wanted a 1966 Impala, Hasegawa made one!  I bought it too.. cost me like $50 with shipping .. its only curbside though -_-;  I think I might use the 1967 I already have built and do measuring/comparing to see if I could use the undercarraige/engine outta the 67 and somehow open the hood and make it a full model

Ferrari 312 3 liter F1

And all of Mitchum's boxart pipe dreams, too.

And now I'll return to my normally scheduled medication and calm down a bit.

After reading this post, I'd like to see an A.J. Watson Indy roadster and maybe a Gilmore. In 1/12th scale of course!

MPC made those back when the car was new. It's just too bad about MPC's fit and quality back then.

Really?!  Heck, I can deal with a few quality issues if it comes to having a kit of my car.  Thanks for the info!  Time for an eBay hunt!!

Surely one of the resin-casters has a '66 conversion for the '65 kit?

I thought of two more for my list: A 1965 or 1966 Mustang coupe and a MK I Spitfire, both in 1/48th scale.

In progress: Hasegawa P-51D/K (being built as a D), Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper 1275S, Testors Kaman H-43B Huskie (held up by lack of parts)

To be resumed sooner or later: Academy M151A2 with Eduard photo-etch

I know this one has been done as a kit, but it's a large scale, poorly done VERY expensive kit.  I want to see a reasonable Fiat X/19.  These cars are so much fun to drive.  Not the fastest, or the prettiest, but they have that Italian Exotic look to them(they are designed by Bertone afterall), and they will easily outcorner a Miata(besides looking better IMHO).  I used to have one of these.  I never should have sold it.

some from my own past: 1968 Ford F100, 1987 GMC Jimmy, 1984 Ford LTD, 2002 Mercury Sable, 1994 Mazda MPV, 1966 Chevrolet Impala (okay they made a 58-65, and then skipped to 67... unless you cound the modified stocker, and I don't)

and just other random kits that are more "daily driver" like minivans, normal pickups, 4-door options on more cars.

Oh, and more new/old NASCARs, right now the only OLD nascars I've seen are the random Petty cars and the one Buddy Baker Charger, and the newest one I've seen is a 2006, but I wanna see Camry's, and car of tomorrows! not just the resin ones.

oh, and more big trucks/construction.  I hate paying an arm and a leg for some of these things.  I've noticed AMT re-releasing some of the old truck kits which is awesome though.

1967 Chevy Impala-4 door

There is a two door version out there, but a four door version would be even nicer.

Revell had a 510 recently, but a Tamiya version would be sweet!

My short list would be:
A Toyota pickup with an engine, stock-height suspension, and left-hand-drive
A SAAB Sonnet III
A Mini Countryman, again with a left-hand-drive setup
A Morgan 4/4, molded in white, with disc wheels and--of course--left-hand-drive!

I have no doubt that she would. She is quite understanding about my passions and my hobbies... but I think buying that one would end with me in traction! LOL

That is one of the cars that i would like to see, though...

Along with a McLaren M1C (M3B in the U.S.) Can Am car. My old boss used to drive one in the 70's, and i would kill to build it!

She was only a whiskey maker, but he loved her still.
