ronart,

I'm in the process of producing a list of current production offerings of  " Early Era " cars and truck models, my favorites. The list will be models to 1969 . If I find the 54 Merc. or a close relative, I will let you know. Have you looked on ebay?

Sorry, but I'm not on here 24/7. You could have been a little less vague also. Are you looking for a convertible, coupe or sedan and which of about three trim levels are your seeking? To the best of my knowledge, in plastic, the answer is no, with the Lindberg '53 Ford being the closest thing out there commercially availible. I feel sure that one of the resin casters may be able to help you, though.

The reason you haven't been able to find one is that there isn't one. At least in a readily availible mainstream manufacturer's kit. Usually when someone asks about a kit like that it is because they want to replicate a car they or a friend owns or used to own and that's why I mentioned trim levels (from top of the line chrome laden hardtops to the stripped down econo-box sedan). There may be one from a resin caster that I'm not aware of. In the meantime you could carve one from that chip on your shoulder.
