Mate,
No need in the world to worry about the contents of a Tamiya boxed kit.
They're truly the yardstick that everyone else compares their kits to - there are very, very few Tamiya kits that aren't the best kits around.
I'm not sure about box art images, but I'll wager the title on my house that the contents will be exactly what you need them to be.

Cheers!!

Cheers, LeeTree

I know what you're talking about--that is just the new box art. I think most of their new kits and the re-issues are printed like that: all black, a drawing of the car, and an image of the parts below the drawing. Don't worry, the parts are still exactly the same, molded in 3-5 colors including clear (and clear red and/ or orange on some).

I have no idea about your issue, however, try the following link:

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/

In the Search box, type in Ferrari Tamiya and hit the Search button.  Then select the kit you are looking at.  Usually they have the full instructions and a picture of the components.

Good luck.

WTF?

I was in my LHS yesterday getting supplies and a kit to add to my growing pile. I was considering getting a 1/24 Tamiya Ferrari kit but on closer inspection of the new box artwork which showed half the parts on their sprues, the windscreens and windows are moulded in the colour of all the other parts. Silvery grey. I thought no, how could they do such a silly thing but I ended up reluctant to buy it because I wasn't sure wether or not they were clear or really moulded in the colour of the other parts.

Anyone know what's going on here?
