Thanks for all the help guys.  I knew if I asked the question here that someone would have an answer.  Now all I have to do is to try and find one.

Many years ago AMT made a 1/25 scale Chevy van with the rock group Kiss on it. It's kit number 2501. I remember it because one of my sons was a big Kiss fan and I made the kit for him. Dealers of old and collectible kits may have one.

Here's a pic of some diecast models of the Magnum PI stable:

I wonder if you can still find this on eBay?

TC's van may have been a VW.  The only vw vans I can find are 60's era vans.  If I can't find one I guess I'll have to make my own.  I have the Magnum PI series on DVD, I will have to pay closer attention to what van it is.  This idea just hit me when I came across a Hughes 500D in the hobby shop and thought that a Magnun PI diorama might be kind of fun

IIRC it was a VW painted like the chopper. You could also do a jeep with a stretch body and a fringe top in some wild color. Of course you could almost do ANY fancy car and claim it was one of Robin Master's in the garage we just had not seen Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

My first guess would be to refer you to accessories for O scale model trains, which are about 1/43 scale.  I did a quick web search though and couldn't find anything that was closer than a Dodge Sprinter-type delivery van.

And I coulda sworn TC had a VW van.

I am building a diorama of TC's  Island Hoppers from the Magnum PI series and I need a van.  I have no problem getting the Hughes 500D helicopter It is in 1/48th scale.  The van could be smaller .

I am looking for a van in 1/48 scale.  I'm not picky about which make or model except I don't want a VW.  Does anybody know where I can get such an item?  I am building a diorama and I need a van for it.
