I have been out of car modeling for many long years. I could not resist the 2005 Mustang GT from Revell. Its such a great looking car, the best looking Mustang in a long time. I finished detailing the interior and engine (see photos) and am now working on the body. This is the most difficult thing for me as I already had it painted, finished, and wanted to polish out the "orange peel" because I'm a perfectionist.
That didn't work out so well. So now I have stripped the paint off with Pine Sol (the plastic smells GREAT now!!!). I'm also going to make the driver side door open, but that's a different story for now.
I have read some tips and suggestions on painting, but I want to hear the advice of the people on the forums. How do I get that flawless scale showroom shine?
