Does anyone recognize this car?

Hi guys.Smile [:)] While waiting for some A/M parts to come, I dug into an old storage box where a lot of my old builds from years and years and years ago were kept. This body was in there all by itself. No frame or anything. It was a real mess.Blush [:I] Chrome parts broken, glue all over the place, and a real sloppy paint job. The paint was really the grey they used to paint the gasoline storage tanks down at the refinery. If you were around when they painted the tanks you could get a 5-gal can or so that was left over at the end of the day. Everybody got some as it was great for basement floors and decks. Chipped and sanded it clean. Decided to build a custom out of it while waiting. Haven't got a clue as to what it is. All I know is that it is OLD. Also found these three kits in the bottom of the box. Look at the price(Where did I leave my wheelchair?).

That is a cool find! I am still looking, but as of now I don't know. I was thinking Buick, but I haven't found one like it yet, even though it has some similar lines.

I hope you don't mind, but I posted the pics over at Scale Auto to see if anyone there could ID it. I'd like to know what it is, too. It is just too cool. Lots of potential there for a really sweet custom.

Those 1/32 cars are pretty neat too. I can see them fitting in easily to a 1/35 diorama somewhere...

Hi Jon. Thanks a lot.Bow [bow]Bow [bow] Thats really a lot of info. Thats it. The kit looked a little different. The hood is a little flatter and there are no scoops on the rear fenders. But, close enough for government work.Wink [;)] I can use that info for ideas. Already found a roof from a sports car that really looks great on the car. I'll have to use all my skillsYuck [yuck] to make up a windshield and rear window for it. Thanks again for your help. I appreciate it.Make a Toast [#toast]
