Revelle Missing Parts Question HELP
Posted by attiliod on Friday, June 27, 2008 9:58 PM

Just purchased a Revelle Ferarri GTO 1/24 scale model. Got home to show my wife opened it up and half the parts are missing.

There is a chance this model is out of production. My question is when I go back to the model shop tomorrow will they have the right to tell me to take it up with Revelle,(who suxs at replacing parts in a timely manner) I mean I purchased it like this I want an exchange, seems fair to me.

What do you guys think, whats your exsperence on these problems.

This is my first revelle is it common?

bummer

I think you have a rather rare case here. I haven't bought a kit missing pieces in a LONG time. Revell is reasonably good at fixing issues like this, so I'd contact customer service. Also, without knowing where you got the kit, one might guess that you got something that had been re-shrinkwrapped by someone. I have heard of this before, people will sell a kit as "still in original wrap" only for the buyer to find a kit inside that has been already started.
